Duo of hires adds veteran experience to Sensis’ SEM, copywriting teams
LOS ANGELES – Interactive advertising agency Sensis is expanding its search engine marketing (SEM) and creative capabilities with the recent hiring of Rob Kallick as SEM coordinator and Javier San Miguel as Associate Creative Director. Kallick joins San Miguel as the latest Sensis hires helping the agency capitalize on ever-growing client needs for more robust interactive marketing solutions.

“We always are looking for niches to fill. Ultimately that is how Sensis was born. We saw a need to fill a niche for interactive multicultural advertising and we have succeeded in doing that,” Sensis CEO Jose Villa said. “With Rob and Javier we are furthering that idea. Kallick joins Sensis as the agency’s inaugural SEM coordinator within the company’s new search practice launched earlier this year. He will manage Sensis’ SEM efforts including search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC) initiatives. His main responsibilities include SEO keyword analysis and selection; SEO Web page title, meta tags and Web site content editing; executing SEO strategies for Sensis’ clients; and PPC campaign management and reporting running on Google AdWords, Yahoo! Search Marketing and Microsoft AdCenter, among others.

Kallick comes to Sensis from Info.com where he served as a SEO / SEM analyst. In this role he optimized Web sites for higher search engine rankings using extensive keyword research and analysis as well as meta data and page content. Before then as a freelance analyst, Kallick worked with HowStuffWorks.com, Redhotchicago.com and Shopmayu.com to develop link-building strategies to optimize the sites for higher search rankings.

San Miguel joins Sensis as its new Associate Creative Director / Senior Web Copywriter. This Hispanic advertising veteran oversees all written content for Sensis’ advertising and Web development clients including content development, research and message development, copywriting and translation (English and Spanish). San Miguel has more than 16 years of English-only and bilingual copywriting and editorial experience in branding, advertising and marketing for national clients including Comcast, TimeWarner Cable, Anthem/Blue Cross, Verizon, H&R Block, CitiFinancial, McDonald’s and Sony.
